Rankwyn
About Rankwyn

We build the SEO plugin we wanted to use

Rankwyn started as a frustration with switching between four or five plugins to cover schema, local SEO, redirects, and now AI search. We built the version that does all of it, in one place, without sending your data anywhere else.

Plugin, one codebase

Why we built Rankwyn

Most WordPress sites end up running a stack of SEO tools, one plugin for meta tags, another for schema, a third for redirects, and increasingly a fourth attempt at something related to AI search. Each one has its own settings screen, its own way of storing data, and its own gaps.

We wanted a plugin that treated all of that as one connected system. Content metadata, structured data, sitemaps, local SEO, WooCommerce schema, site maintenance, and AI search visibility, built together, so they actually reinforce each other instead of quietly conflicting.

We also wanted it to run entirely on the site it is installed on. No external API calls for core features, no account required to get started, and no sending your content or traffic data to a third party server just to generate a sitemap or check for broken links.

That is still the standard we hold Rankwyn to today, every new feature area gets built with the same two questions: does it genuinely help the site rank and get cited, and does it run locally.

What we care about

The principles behind Rankwyn

Fully local by default

Every core feature, schema, sitemaps, llms.txt, AI traffic insights, runs on your own server. No external API calls required to use Rankwyn.

One plugin, not five

We would rather build one well integrated system than ship five narrow plugins that half work together.

Honest about what is not built yet

If a feature is not ready, our migration wizard and documentation say so directly instead of implying it works.

Built for where search is actually going

AI answers are already part of how people research and buy. We treat AEO, AGO, and GEO as core SEO work, not a future roadmap item.
